As we all know Sunday was Mother’s Day. I would like to share the
prayer I wrote for the day dedicated to those women in our lives
that meant so much to us.
Bless our Mothers God. No matter if they are here with us on Earth
or present with you in Heaven. Speak softly to their hearts. Tell
them of our love. Tell them of our joy in knowing we are all God’s
kids. Bless all the women in our lives God: those that had a
positive influence on us. Those who helped us become the women
and men we are today. God you have been both Mother and
Father to us. Help us to learn your nurturing side and to reach out
to your children throughout the community. Help us to let them
know of your love. Amen
Please keep in prayer:
Dawn F – For her friend Jerri’s husband Dave who has been
diagnosed with acute leukemia. For friend Mary Marconi who
continues to recover from a coma. Prayers for a possible job
opportunity.
Pastor Mike – continued prayers for Nephew Joey.
Don W – Continued prayers for friend Ralph who is recovering in a
nursing home. Prayers for partner Jack as he travels north to visit
with his Mother.
Jon C – Prayers for a buyer for my home. Prayers for patients
while my puppy is house broken. Prayers for those affected by the
fires in the Malabar / Palm Bay area, as well as Cocoa and
Daytona Beach. May the arsonist(s) who set the many fires in the
Palm Bay area be caught, and no further homes be lost. Prayers
that my Dad's hospital stay for testing find him in good health.
Prayer for Vera and Thanks for Aunt Dorothy.
Emma – Prayers as I try to quit smoking.
Roger – Prayers for Kat as she works on some personal problems.
Praises for those who have come forward and offered their homes
to those who may need to evacuate from the fire zones. (Please
note that Lady of Grace church on Malabar Road is opened as a
Red Cross shelter as well).
